This is a commentary on Bush's continued support of millitary operations in Iraq, no matter how much stuff goes wrong. Of all the Arab counrtries out there, he had to wreck the most "secular" and "Western" of them and now of their own "Free Will" they want a religious leadership that will make Iran look moderate. Therefore, troops have to stay there indefinitely and get killed. That's the reason his Daddy didn't 'finish the job' a decade back. Smart move.
Just a breakdown here. I plan to make a more refined, iconic one soon.
This is cool. I think it proves a really important point. Heīs throwing in lives as though they are worth a dollar, itīs DISGUSTING. Even though I live in the U.K. Come visit my gallery and PLAESE LEAVE A COMMENT TO SAY WHAT YOU LIKE or DONīT!!!!! Itīs a very diferent style to your stuff, which is cool!
Iraq during Saddam. Secular and western? I hardly think so. Asses like you would be attacking the president and all of his supporters if he went after North Korea instead of Iraq.
Don't act like this is about what you say is our "aggression against poor defenseless Iraq." You and i both know it is your ignorance and hate that makes you speak the way you do. It's not the country of choice. It's that your ideals and opinions are not being satisfied.
I'd be against attacking N. Korea, too. Bush is because he is a pathetic bully and as tough as he talks, he backs down when someone might pose a fight.
And Clinton's plan was working. The food shipped to North Korea from America would have been thrown away because of our surpluses while people were starving there. Kim was opening up to the "Honest, we aren't trying to overthrow you. We want to help you and your people, we want to be friends. Global village and all that." line. In a few more years, we would have been able to send Agriculture advisors and engineers to help him repair his infastructure. Also, Sociologists to help him balance his society so it is better, while still letting him keep control. He'd go down in history as a great leader while without firing a single shot, N. Korea would 'open up' soon after his death.
He was developing nukes, so what? If he hit a US city under those conditions, he'd sacrifice his nation. On the other hand, he could keep letting us speak nicely to him and feed him and live a long life of comfort and prestige. His agents could scour for any sign of subversion and find only friendship. He may be nuts, but he's not totally nuts.
Of course, Bush ended the programs the second he got in office. Then 9/11. Then decalring N. Korea #3 on an 'axis of evil' and proceeding to wipe out the first two. What would even a SANE man prepare to do?
It reminds me of the Pink Floyd video for "Another brick in the wall" when the children were being dropped into a meat-grinder. Kind of what Bush does.
do a bit of research, u'll learn that Saddam's Iraq had the best education system of any middle eastern country, the women had more rights there than they did in any other middle eastern country. Sure, he was brutal but if you lived your life and followed his rules, you had a job, a house, a family, you had some element of freedom, it may not have been much freedom but its sure as hell more freedom than they have now. Just walking down the street in the new "Free" Iraq is like walking through a minefield. Iraq today has about as much democracy as a high school student council. Sure you can pick a "government" and they can say all kinds of lovely things and have great ideas but when it comes down to it, they don't have the ability nor the resources to do anything. The insurgency runs Iraq, they have essentially all the power. They have the Iraqi government crippled and the American troops there are on the defensive.
